This beginner-friendly class will walk you through the foundations of Canva in a way that actually makes sense. No design experience required!

EMPWR Collective: Golden Hour Hike + Wins Circle

Let’s get outside! For our May gathering, we’re trading the meeting room for the trail.

We’ll be heading up together to catch the best light of the day and celebrate our progress as a group.

The Plan We are keeping this timeline tight so we don't miss the sunset.

We’ll meet at 7:00 PM and we start hiking at 7:15 PM sharp. We’ll reach the viewpoint just in time for the "Golden Hour" to host our Wins Circle, a dedicated time to go around and share our wins at the top of the mountain.

After we connect and grab some photos, we’ll walk back down together during the "blue hour" as the sun finishes setting.

Time: Meet at 7:00 PM | Hiking starts at 7:15 PM sharp
Where: Keystone Canyon Trail head

A Few Tips

Gear: Please wear sneakers or hiking shoes. Your ankles will thank you!
Hydration: Be sure to bring your own water.
Parking: Parking can get a little tight at this trailhead, so we highly encourage carpooling if you can.

This is a great chance to clear your head, get some movement in, and celebrate what you’ve accomplished this month. We can’t wait to see you there!

We gather one Thursday evening a month for networking and "something else" - sometimes it's a topical discussion, other times it might be an activity or a speaker. We also have door prize drawings plus a 50/50 CASH raffle to support another local nonprofit. Our nonprofit this month is Ashley’s Toy Closet. If you can bring a new toy to donate on our toy drive for this nonprofit.

Our regular monthly meetings are free to attend but purchasing dinner, drinks, or dessert from one of the host businesses is always encouraged. We will be meeting upstairs so plan ahead. (Elevator is near the front entrance, the Plumb Lane side, to your left when you walk in.)

This meeting is open to all female business owners or entrepreneurs. You are welcome to join us and we encourage you to invite a friend who you think would also benefit from this supportive group.

New things to expect in 2026:
1. Vendor tables! We will have up to 4 vendor tables available at each meeting. EMPWR Collective members can purchase a vendor spot for just $25. Members exhibiting can bring products to sell or information to share with all who attend.

2. Self-introductions - we are growing but do want to build back in time at each meeting for people to briefly share who they are and what they do. There will be two opportunities at each meeting for people to do self-introductions.

One is to bring a guest. If you bring a first-time guest, both the member and the guest will be able to introduce themselves. The other is to bring a prize for the door prize drawings. Everyone who donates something will be allowed to introduce themselves and announce what they are giving away.

3. We will still feature a nonprofit at each meeting but in 2026 we are going to choose one nonprofit for the whole month. We hope this will help us communicate more about each organization's mission and what we can do to support them.
